My work is strongly inspired by Ukrainian folk art, craft and traditions, and the natural landscape of Ontario, Canada.

My personal work:
I enjoy juxtaposing drawings of plants, flowers and fungi in urban and rural environments with compelling stories of communities, folk culture, and the effects of climate change.

My craft work:
Growing up in a Ukrainian household, I’ve always been interested in exploring ancient traditional Ukrainian crafts and rituals; specifically didukhy (ancestral wheat trees) made in the winter season and hunting for mushrooms from spring to autumn.
